Half-Nekkid Hold'em

didn't get much play very much poker over the weekend, because I spent most of the day Saturday and Sunday backing up and reformatting the hard drive of my poker computer because of some stupid virus. Sunday afternoon I managed to sneak in about and hour of $.05/.10 Limit Hold'em on PokerStars. I did pretty well, winning $0.71. I was dealt some good cards and hit a few flops. The biggest pot I won was $0.77 after being dealt a pair of kings and made a set on the flop. I checked the flop and waited until the turn to start getting aggressive.

Monday night's session did not go as well. When I started playing the table was full with 9 other players, but soon several players left and most of the rest of the session was short-handed. I really did not play very well after the flop for most of the session. After playing almost 200 hands, I finally decided to quit after making the ace high flush on the turn and having it cracked by a full house on the river. I was dealt Q3 of clubs in the BB and checked after two players and the SB called. The flop was TcKcKh and I raised after the SB bet. The turn was the ace of clubs and I bet after the SB checked. The SB and one other played called my turn bet and an ace fell on the river along with my hopes of taking down a pretty big pot. I bet again after the SB checked and then called showing K6 of spades. I know now that I should have just checked the river instead of betting, but after the SB checked the river I thought there might have been some chance I still had the best hand. Overall I ended up losing $1.01 Monday night.

Current Bankroll: $222.40
