Limited Success

I played a couple of hours of $0.50/$1.00 limit on Party Poker on Sunday. I don't think I played all that well, but I still managed to come out over $9.00 ahead. The table I selected was pretty tight. I won several small pots without a showdown, but then I would find myself down a few dollars a few hands later.

Near the end of the session I finally won two huge pots and finished up $9.63 for the day. The first huge pot was $11.75 with a pair of king vs. a pair of jacks. Then a few hands later I got lucky with JT of spades and won a $15 pot when I flopped two pair versus a preflop raiser with a pair of kings.

I have also added $50 that I received for Christmas to my bankroll.
